Our Story

Our "Roots"

From a young age, Alex and Morgan Richert (siblings) had the blessing to grow up spending summers working for their family’s apple and cherry orchard in Michigan.

When the family moved to Minnesota they realized there was a problem! You can't find actual fresh fruit in the grocery stores. The Richert family brought back fresh Honeycrisp apples from the family farm to share with friends in the small-town community. The results were amazing!

Word of the fresh Honeycrisp apples spread around the area and soon we found ourselves needing to bring a whole semi-load to share with all the happy customers in a small town with a population of 1,700 people!

The College Days

Year after year, the Fall tradition continued with the Richert family bringing fresh apples in the Fall to their Minnesota town. In 2012, the family moved back to Michigan as Alex and Morgan began college in North Dakota.

Alex expanded into Grand Forks, ND where he attended UND while Morgan began selling in Fargo, ND while she attended NDSU.

Since college, we have continued the tradition and now cover 20+ towns across the states of Minnesota and North Dakota each season.

The Tradition Continues

Although we now have grown to bring additional varieties of fruit, our promise is the same.

Otto Peterson Farms

The Michigan Apples we bring each season come from our very own family farm in Michigan. Grandpa Otto Peterson grew a variety of fruits and today that legacy is continued by his sons Ron and Russ Peterson and their families who continue to manage the family farm.

Walker Farms Blueberries

A fifth generation family farm located in Michigan that has farmed the same land for 70 years.
